Hello everybody,
I was wondering if anybody has any experience with Horus Bennu Tripods.
I am currently thinking of buying a Horus Bennu 747 or a Manfrotto MK293A4 on ebay. Both come with the same Horus Bennu head anyway (LX 2T).
I have read that HB tripods can easily compete with Manfrotto and Co, however, there are not too many reviews about HB.

G'day Daniel,

I personally had not heard of the brand and so went looking. It seems that this tripod is aimed at those who want one for travelling.

HorusBennu Tripods Review about half way down the page is a pros and cons of this tripod from an owners perspective and he mentions that if he was going to be using it on a more regularly basis, he would have purchased a higher quality brand.

Regards,
Craig

Thanks for your reply, Craig.
I was wondering if you may have another suggestion for a tripod/ tripod head in the 100-130 USD range (incl. head). The Manfrotto 293 or HorusBennu 988T specifications seem to be quite suitable for my needs (hiking, travelling, amateur)

Have a look at B&H and read the review on the units you are considering.
