Its pretty straight forward once you set it up. Basically you can't upload an image directly to most forums. So you need to upload it somewhere else on the web and then tell the forum to get the image for your post from this link.
One easy way to do this is to create a Flickr Account which is free of charge - you just need an email address. Upload your photos to your Flickr Account and then any time you want to post an image on any forum just use the web link that Flickr creates for each image.
Sounds more complicated than it is. After you do it twice it will all make sense.

Hey Alan, thanks for ya tip. I've got ma photo on Flickr and added the link to a post, but the photo isn't coming up. I literally copied the link from Flickr into the post. Must have done something wrong cause it isn't showing up.

OK. No problem. The hard work is done. Now open your Flickr account and click on the photo you want to link to. Now you should see some links above your photo, one of them will look like a magnifying glass called "all sizes", click on this. In the new window that opens you will see a box under your photo labelled "grab the photo's url" - this is the link you need.
Hope it works.

Are we able to up load a small 64 X 64 pix image for our avatar?

Hi Etch,
Don't click insert image. Just beside it is the upload image icon -it has an arrow- click on that, then click browse and it will allow you to upload directly from your computer as long as the image is resized according to the website guidelines. Its easier and it works, as everything I upload is uploaded that way.
