I understand that I would need a model release for a picture of a recognizable person but what about a partial picture of a horse & rider's leg? Could I post that? The reason I ask is I have a focusing question but don't want to post something I'm not allowed. thanks

Sally,

I would think that if you want some feedback on a certain part of a shot then you could post it. Obviously its difficult to give proper feedback on a portion of a shot, especially regarding composition but if you are after technical advice then please go for it !

You can post anything you want, even if the person is recognisable. A model release is only needed for commercial purposes.

Good luck posting your photos, nothing holding you back now
