My old Aces laptop is giving up the ghost and needs to be replaced. My question is what would be the the best laptop to move to and what kind of guts should it have for my photography? Thanks Buck

If you are open to looking into a mac machine have a look at there macbook air's or the pro version of them they will do what you're after pretty much straight out of the box, as they are powerful enough for photo editing.

You can have a look on Dell XPS 15 Touch. The 15.6-inch Dell XPS 15 Touch has a large 500GB hard drive and, thanks to a Core i5 processor, it's speedy enough for smooth photo editing. Colors on the display are accurate and natural-looking.

I actually think the Dell XPS 15 might be a great choice
