Hi, I have a Manfrotto Neotec tripod and think it's great but I have convinced myself that I need a sturdier tripod.
I have ordered one this evening, is it wrong that I'm excited because my Manfrotto 058b will be here on Friday?

Regards
Gray

G'day Gray,

I nearly bought one of these a few years back, but it didnt go down low enough for my purpose.

If it doesnt have padded legs, you will want to invest in some as it make all the difference when carrying it and if you plan to carry it on you shoulder for any extended length of time, you might want to invest in a padded cushin that fits at the head of the tripod Like these or just have one made.

Have fun with the new purchase.

Regards,
Craig

Hi Craig,

I never even thought about padding to make carrying it a tad more comfortable, thanks for the link

Regardless of the model chosen ... Manfrotto make awesome tripods !!

I think thats something I would look at getting as well the 055X PRO B or one of the carbon fibre ones just for the lightness, I like how the manfrotto gear is made and functions is why I'm going to stick with them.
