Hi all,

I spent a bit of time yesterday trying some new techniques out in Photoshop on one of the images from a previous shoot and I'd like to get some CC please :)

In the past my portraits have had quite a flat look to them so I've tried to move away from that and get a bit more depth to the photo using dodge/burn some more and experimenting with vignettes.

Unfortunately I can't seem to get the link to work when I insert image so I've put a hyperlink at the bottom :)

Kind Regards,

Chris

G'day Chris,

PP looks good, only comment is the skin tone on the right side of her neck, looks a bit orange and just noticed the same skin tone where her hair meets her jaw. Not sure if its CA correction that is a bit over strong.

But in all, nice darkened background to seperate the model from the background and OOF Bokeh.

Keep up the good work.

Regards,
Craig

P.S. Looks like your host has something in place to prevent the images from being displayed on another website.

Hi Craig,

Thanks :) I see what you mean - I think that could be light bouncing back from her hair or the surrounding trees or possibly makeup. I'll try and pay more attention to the colors in future and neutralize any color casts.

Kind Regards,

Chris

i think also to slow down a little bit the eyes , my thought to make them a little darker .
for my feeling they jump not much a little to much out .
I think that wil give a little bit more smood is maby the word lol.
softer look is beter said I think , and in the neck it is a reflection from the hiar .
the orange light up a bit Karl let see that in the DVD pro retouching , to make the exposure little bit better , if you now what I ment.(light shaping he call's it)
I think that wil take also a little bit the orange out the face .
but keep up the good work well done,my 2 cent thought

hope this help a bit

cheers Rene
